THE first names of the 177 linked to the Jeffrey Epstein case are set to be released today.
The bombshell documents relating to paedophile Jeffrey Epstein and his high-profile associates are expected to be unsealed later today, sources confirmed to The Sun.
The first names on the Epstein list are set to be released today
Andrew with Virginia Giuffre and Ghislaine Maxwell
District Executive for the Southern District of New York, Ed Friedland, told The Sun: “The unsealing should begin today, only the documents pertaining to the Does that there is a hold on will be held until after the 22nd.
“More information will be posted on the docket. The unsealing will be on a rolling basis.”
The order for the files to be released was given by New York judge Loretta Preska in relation to the 2015 defamation case brought by Virginia Giuffre against Ghislaine Maxwell.
The order was signed on December 18, meaning they should be made public any time from January 1 onwards unless anyone appeals.
Names of Epstein and Maxwell’s victims, associates and alleged co-conspirators are expected to be made public as part of the document dump, according to Preska’s order.
The list is expected to include names of people with close ties to Epstein such as Prince Andrew, former US President Bill Clinton as well as Microsoft founder Bill Gates and former Israeli PM Ehud Barak.
There is no suggestion that any of those named are accused of any wrongdoing.
