TELEVISION presenters at a Mexican news station were left horrified after a video clip of a man’s testicles played during a live broadcast.

RCG TV, based in the northeastern state of Coahuila, was airing footage of the solar eclipse when the shocking clip suddenly filled the screen.

The local Mexican television network was sharing videos provided by its viewers when the viral blunder occurred.

A male anchor was listing the cities where people had a clear view of the solar eclipse, when a video of a man’s testicles moving sideways to block a light flashed across the screen.

He said: “They would be the municipalities where it could be appreciated the most.”

One of the news anchors let out a gasp and grabbed the table in front of her as the male anchor shifted uncomfortably in his seat.

The gross clip was quickly removed by the production team, as the male news anchor said: “This last video is from a fan.

“Thank you, we insist to the people who are reporting.”

X user @Rhevolver appears to have claimed responsibility for submitting the video to the network.

The social media user wrote: “Good afternoon, @rcg_media. I appreciate that you took my video about the eclipse, but I would have loved to have been credited. Greetings.”

Later, he added: “Greetings to all my people from Saltillo who had to watch my eggs on television because those at @rcg_media forgot to review the video of the eclipse carefully.

“I love you.”

The video clip has been around since 2017, according to local media.

RCG Media shared an unblurred clip of the mishap to its page on X late on Tuesday night along with the caption: “How did you see #eclipse ? Ours was [two emojis depicting eggs].”

One viewer commented: “at least they uploaded it themselves.”

Another said: “I can’t believe that they still find it funny in vdd, what a disgusting thing about a more mainstream television station, you can’t.”

Someone else wrote: “They made the best decision. What happened to them was very crazy.”
