A DISTURBED father has hacked his children, wife and parents to death with an axe just days after getting married.

Dinesh Saryam, 22, slaughtered eight of his family members in a horror mass murder spree in India before taking his own life, say local cops.

Three out of eight family members were laid on the ground after being hacked to death by a 22-year-old father

The tragic rampage took place in the small tribal village of Bodal Kacher in the Indian city of Chhindwara on Wednesday, May 29.

Saryam married his wife, Varsha, just a week earlier.

The chilling killing spree happened in the early hours of the morning at around 2:30am with no official motive being given as of yet.

The Mahuljhir police department were informed of the murders by a 10-year-old child who miraculously managed to escape despite being left hospitalised.

After alerting the authorities, the police quickly cordoned off the village as they embarked on a grisly mission to find and identify the bodies.

All eight victims were found scattered throughout the family home.

The Chhindwara Superintendent of Police, Manish Khatri, later arrived to help with the investigation as the murder weapon was soon found.

Saryam is said to have savagely killed his direct relatives before continuing his rampage by going to the house of his father’s oldest brother.

Here, he ran into the young boy who alerted his grandmother before fleeing the house, Superintendent Khatri said.

Cops labelled the brute as mentally disturbed at the time of the attacks.

They are also looking into if drugs played a factor into the horrific carnage after it was said Saryam may have had a drug addiction.

All of the victims were given a mass burial in their home village after they had been identified.

The older sister of the killer, Asha Bai, claimed her brother’s behaviour had changed drastically after becomming a married man.

His demeanour had negatively shifted with him seeming uneasy a lot of the time, she said.

One of her biggest worries came when Saryam, an avvid photographer and amateur filmmaker, is thought to have not record any of his wedding celebrations.

The local community was left in a state of shock after the devastating news rang around the village.

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has ordered a thorough probe into the potential reasons for the fatal outburst.

He also announced the remaining family members will be given 10lakh as compensation with the brave child who escaped getting an additional 5lakh so he can undergo hospital treatment.

It comes just a few weeks since evil mother, Savitri Kumar, 26, hurled her disabled son into a river to be eaten alive by crocodiles before blaming her husband.

Kumar said the boy’s father Ravi Kumar, 27, demanded her to “throw the child away” after moaning that “all he does is eat”.

Another monster mother smothered her three children before telling cops she killed one of her twins first because she was “badly behaved”, a court heard recently.

Lauren Anne Dickason, 42, was charged with murdering her daughters Liane, aged six, and twins Maya and Karla, aged two.

Dickason, who is on trial in the High Court in Christchurch, New Zealand, has admitted to killing her children but denies it was murder.

Her defence claims she is not guilty by reason of insanity.
