A BRIT has been killed on a Greek holiday island after a driver smashed into a family walking along the road.
The 47-year-old woman was on holiday with her husband, in-laws, son-in-law and daughter-in-law in the town of Chania, on Crete.

The family was reportedly walking along a street in Georgioupolis on Friday afternoon when the driver lost control of his car, ran over the women and her daughter-in-law, local reports said.
The woman was injured in the head but was picked up by an ambulance while still conscious.
A few hours later she died in Rethymnon Hospital.
The car then ended up in a field.
