Her body was found on Wednesday after a search and rescue operation lasting several hours which continued into Thursday morning.
It is understood her pals survived the horror avalanche – but were reportedly suffering from hypothermia when found by cops.
The woman described herself as a keen mountaineer and ski instructor.
She posted regularly on Instagram videos and photos of her skiing and rock climbing.
However, the avalanche risk was considered “considerable” when the woman went out in the snow to ski, it is understood.
An investigation into the tragedy has been launched.
In January, a mum and her child were killed in a devastating avalanche during a ski trip in Finland’s Lapland.
The pair were found dead buried in snow in the Pyhakuru Valley near Sweden.
