A GANG of hero monkeys reportedly fought off a man who was about to rape a six-year-old girl after luring her into an abandoned building.
The girl’s relieved father said his daughter “would be dead now if they had not intervened.”

The man lured the girl into an abandoned house in Baghpat, India on the weekend, according to local media.
The young girl’s parents claim the man took off her clothes and attempted to rape her but was scared off when a troop of monkeys rushed at him, it’s reported.
When the terrified six-year-old returned home, she told her parents that monkeys had “saved her” from the alleged attempted assault, Times of India claim.
CCTV captured shows the man holding the young girl’s hand as he takes her down a lane in Doula village.
Speaking to local media, the girl’s dad said: “My daughter would have been dead by now if the monkeys had not intervened.
“My daughter was playing outside when the accused took her away.
“He also threatened my child that he would kill me.”
Cops say the man is a resident of another village but they have been unable to identify him.
A spokesperson from the local police confirmed this and said the man is still on the run.
An investigation into the alleged attempted rape has been launched.
It comes after a pet pooch, dubbed the world’s bravest dog, was filmed saving its owner from a rampaging wild bear.
The astonishing footage of the encounter was published on social media and went viral online.
The pair clashed in the snow in the Turkish town of Uludag mere moments after the dog’s owner had fled the scene.
According to local reports, the hungry bear approached the built-up area from a nearby mountain forest in search of food.
The owner was out walking the two dogs before he spotted the beast approaching from up ahead.
CCTV footage captured the moment he noticed something in the distance, before running away out of shot.
Meanwhile, his two dogs are seen being chased by a young bear before stopping to stand their ground.
One dog appears to look on in the background as its pal takes on the bear.
The pair locked paws several times before the bear shakes off its opponents advances and chases it away.
The clip concludes as the two dogs run out of view and the bear wanders off in the direction it came from.
