A YOUNG woman engineer was crushed to death by a steamroller which experienced brake failure as work was being carried out on a construction site.
Rafaela Martins de Araujo, 27, was working at the Petrobras oil firm in Macae, Brazil, on Monday morning, 7th October, when the accident happened.

Rafaela was an employee of a third-party company that provides services to Petrobras.
The steamroller was being used in the site’s waste shed area when its brakes malfunctioned and its operator could not control it.
