NORTH Korean soldiers are brutally “executing” their wounded comrades to stop them being captured by Ukraine, according to Volodymyr Zelensky.

The Kyiv president claimed his forces had captured “several” of dictator Kim Jong-Un’s fighters – but they couldn’t be resuscitated and died.

Ukraine also confirmed a missile strike to destroy a storage and repair facility for the Iranian killer Shahed drones deep in Russian territory in Oryol region.

The deadly British-supplied Storm Shadow missiles were used, according to ASTRA media.

Zelensky spoke as footage emerged reportedly showing North Korean troops in massed positions on the battlefield “with minimal protection” in Russia’s Kursk region – failing to take precaution from Ukrainian drones.

This is seen as making them vulnerable to aerial strikes – unlike Vlad’s Russian troops who are operating in smaller and less exposed groups.

North Korean corpses inspected by Ukrainians have even been recovered with no radios or other forms of communication.

And what’s more there have been no radio intercepts involving North Korean troops.

Officer Telegram channel from Ukraine said: “They don’t even communicate with each other during assaults, and the Russians also don’t consider it advisable [for North Koreans] to communicate with commanders and drone operators, because no one will understand them anyway.”

Zelensky said North Korea had suffered “many losses”, having previously put this figure at 3,000-plus dead and wounded.

Wounded North Korean fighters have been spotted inside hospitals in Moscow.

The Ukrainian president said: “We can see that the Russian military and the North Korean enforcers have no interest in the survival of these Koreans at all.

“Everything is arranged in a way that makes it impossible for us to capture the Koreans as prisoners.

“Their own people are executing them, there are such cases.

“And the Russians send them into assaults with minimal protection.

“Today we received reports on several soldiers from North Korea, our warriors managed to capture them.

“But they were seriously wounded and could not be resuscitated.”

Zelensky added: “This is one of the manifestations of the madness dictatorships are capable of.

“The Korean nation should not lose its people in the battles in Europe.

“And this can be influenced, particularly by Korea’s neighbours, especially China.

“If China is sincere in its statements that the war should not escalate, it must exert appropriate pressure on Pyongyang.”

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed a Boxing Day strike on a military facility between the villages of Tsimbulova and Rudnevo in Oryol region.

The military statement read: “As a result of the strike, a storage, maintenance, and repair facility for kamikaze drones Shahed, consisting of several reinforced concrete shelters, was destroyed.

“This combat operation significantly reduced the enemy’s ability to carry out airstrikes using kamikaze drones on civilian infrastructure facilities in Ukraine.”

ASTRA media reported that three Storm Shadow missiles were deployed by Ukraine for the strike, supplied to Kyiv from Britain.

Two Russian servicemen died, and seven were wounded in the reported strike, said the media outlet.

The strike was at least 280 miles inside Russian territory.

Vladimir Putin has chillingly vowed to respond to such strikes inside his borders.

North Korean soldier’s haunting war diary sketches

A NORTH Korean soldier’s eerie diary sketches show Ukrainian drones blitzing Kim Jong-un’s troops.

The soldier vowed to sacrifice his life by fighting in Vladimir Putin’s war, according to the diary entries released by Ukraine’s military.

Kim Jong-un is said to have sent at least 11,000 of his troops to Russia in a bid to help fellow tyrant Vladimir Putin.

Neither Pyongyang nor Moscow have confirmed the presence of the helpless North Korean troops – but evidence has been discovered by Kyiv’s forces.

Ukraine’s military released images of a diary discovered on a dead North Korean soldier in the Kursk battleground region of Russia – where Zelensky’s troops mounted a shock border incursion in August.

These pages revealed the twisted Kim Jong-un abiding mindset this ill-fated soldier had.

The soldier wrote: “Defending the homeland is a sacred duty of every citizen and the highest mission.”

This North Korean fighter said he had committed some sort of offence against his party to protect Kim Jong-Un and revealed the extreme limits he was willing to go to for his dictator.

The soldier wrote: “I will join the front lines of this operation and sacrifice my life.

“I will unconditionally follow the orders of Comrade Supreme Commander (Kim Jong-Un) I will show the world the courage and self-sacrifice of the Red Special Forces named after Kim Jong Un.

“And I will win the battle, return home, and bring the request of Mother-Party.”

The fighter was also found with a fake ID, which implied he was from the Siberian region of Tuva – a move Russia has reportedly made with most of its new troops.
