Her heartbroken sister announced the star’s passing with selfie of them on a plane alongside the caption: “I love you sister and I will always love you.

“I give thanks to God for giving me a sister like you with your big heart. Rest in peace my sister.”

She followed it up with a tearful video message thanking Acosta’s fans for the support.

“Thank you also for supporting my sister while she was still alive,” she added.

Acosta was due to become a mum for the third time before her sudden death on January 3.

She announced the pregnancy back in July.

Her second baby, called Legend, was only born in February with the first kid, Reina being almost two.

A cousin revealed the family are still waiting for the results of a post-mortem but that they believe she suffered a cardiac arrest following the doomed family meal.

She continued saying that at one moment Acosta was happily eating dinner before she started to “choke and have difficulties breathing”.

Moments later she started to become overwhelmed and faced an “attack of some kind”.

The family rushed the 27-year-old to hospital but doctors couldn’t save her.

Carol moved to the US from the Dominican Republic when she was 12 and suffered from bullying of her weight.

But the influencer managed to turn this torment into humour and built up a huge fan base of over 6.6 million followers.

She released a song in 2017 titled “Me Amo y No Me Importa” – which in English translates as “I Love Myself and I Don’t Care”.

Earlier this year, the beloved online personality told her fans she had decided to “embrace God and turn her back on drugs”.

A now harrowing post online said: “I repented, I died, I was born again. And my brothers and sisters I am now proudly free from sin.

“God forgave me and it feels so good to be free from the anxiety and depression that used to force me to take drugs and do things I didn’t want to do.”

Her devastated fans have flooded her comment section on Instagram ever since her death was announced.

One said: “May this goddess who never let herself be humiliated by anyone rest in peace.”

Another wrote: “A mother left us, because more than an influencer, she was a mother and I swear there is nothing harder than losing one of your parents.

“God bless those creatures. I am 24 years old and I miss my dad every moment and I really don’t know what to do without him.“

Acosta’s devastated loved ones have asked her fans to help raise donations so they can give the influencer a proper send off.

An online family statement said: “On January 3 our dear Carolar better know as Killadamente passed away.

“The Acosta Gonzalez family shares its pain with everyone who knew her.

“At her young age she managed to help thousands of people through her work but on this occasion we unite and ask for your help in making sure she has the farewell she deserves.

“If it’s within your possibilities we would appreciate a contribution however small to help go towards funeral costs and help her family and children overcome this enormous loss.”
