Investigators have said that she had “pregnancy denial” when she allegedly tossed her infant out of the window of an Ibis Styles hotel just after giving birth.

Her son was found on the street wrapped in a blanket in the 20th arrondissement and was rushed to hospital.

He was pronounced dead on arrival due to the injuries caused by the 30ft fall.

French authorities have said that the baby was thrown from the second floor with the umbilical cord still attached.

They added that they believe she “unexpectedly” gave birth in the hotel.
