April is a time of growth and renewal, not only for living things but also for the ever-expanding Netflix library. This month brings dozens of titles, from new and returning series to documentaries and original films. We’ll be treated to a new season of Lee Sung Jin’s Beef, the first installment of which took home eight Emmys, with an all new cast: Carey Mulligan and Oscar Isaac play a millennial couple beefing with the Gen Z employees (Cailee Spaeny and Charles Melton) of the tony country club Isaac’s character manages. XO, Kitty returns for a third season of Kitty Covey’s romantic and family endeavors, while Korean drama Bloodhounds drops viewers back in the world of Kim Geon-woo’s boxing dreams.
New series include Dan Levy and Rachel Sennott’s dark comedy Big Mistakes, about a sibling duo in way above their heads, and Zach Galafianakis’ gardening series, with a title that ensures you know exactly what you’re getting into: This Is a Gardening Show. On the film side, Charlize Theron and Taron Edgerton go head to head in Baltasar Kormákur’s rock-climbing survival thriller Apex; Sadie Sandler (You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah) and Chloe East (hilarious in The Fabelmans) play a college dorm odd couple in Roommates; and Noah Kahan: Out of Body dives deep into the beloved singer-songwriter’s inner life and music.
Here’s what else is coming to Netflix, as well as leaving the platform, in April.
