TWO brave Ukrainian snipers have been filmed showing off their shooting skills as they took out 22 Russian enemies in one night.

Footage shows the pair, apparently from the military intelligence unit GUR, destroying Vladimir Putin‘s troops using 338-calibre bullets and night vision.

In the clip, the two Ukrainian snipers can be seen scouting for targets across enemy lines through their rifle scopes using night vision.

The snipers then aim and take out the Russian soldiers, one by one, as they are caught between the rifle’s crosshairs.

Both the shooters appeared to have used the special Haenel HLR 338 sniper riffle to destroy Putin’s troops in the one-night mission.

The German-made sniper rifle is widely used in long-range precision shooting.

Weighing just 7.5kgs, the HLR 338 is equipped with a shoulder rest that can be adjusted in height and length – and can also be optimally aligned to the shooter.

In addition, the shaft of the sniper rifle can also be folded for ease of use.

The rifle also uses a three-chamber muzzle brake system that not only reduces recoil but also reduces the upward impact, ensuring maximum precision.

In December, Ukraine received 15 HLR 338 sniper riffles along with 60,000 rounds of ammunition as a part of German military aid, German Ministry reports.

Ukrainian troops, especially snipers, have been showing off some skills as they continue destroying Russian enemies from long distances.

Just a few days ago, a Ukrainian sniper wiped out a Russian soldier from almost a kilometre away after spotting barely visible heat signals

Footage from the rifle’s scope showed the sharpshooter aiming at the enemy using thermal detection before taking out the target from 900 metres away.

Ukraine’s armed forces said in a statement: “The distance is 900 metres, on the street – 20 Minus the occupier.”

In November last year,  another Ukrainian sniper set a new world record for effective shots after killing a Russian soldier from 2.3 miles away.

The record shot was executed using Horizon’s Lord – a massive 6ft Ukrainian multi-calibre antimaterial sniper rifle.

The rifle is also said to be easy to carry and transport in and out of the battlefield, as it follows tight restrictions on length and weight.

It comes as Vladimir Putin has been pounding cities across Ukraine as he continues his illegal invasion of the country.

Just today, Putin’s troops launched strikes that blew up a gas pipeline killing at least five civilians.

The constant barrage of missile strikes left another 40 injured as buildings were set on fire, people walked around badly wounded and a disabled children’s care home was blitzed.

A dazed woman was seen climbing out of the rubble with her face dripping in blood after Putin hit her family home.

A man was also seen searching for his father who was trapped beneath the rubble.
