Putin, 71, ‘orders Russian scientists to develop anti-ageing wonder cures to help him & his elderly cronies stay alive’

VLADIMIR Putin has reportedly asked Russian scientists to develop anti-ageing cures in a bid to clutch to power and rule forever.

The botox-loving dictator, 71, is said to have a vested interest in reverse ageing techniques that could make him look young and active.

Russian scientists have reportedly been ordered to submit details of their research to fight ageing.

A recent letter from the Russian health ministry demands scientists to reveal the latest developments to turn back Putin’s biological clock, Meduza reports.

The order, which left medical researchers in Russia shocked, is said to have been sent on behalf of Putin who is now desperate to live for as long as he can.

A source within Russia’s national medical research centre revealed: “We were asked to urgently send all our developments within one day.

“Orders came from the big boss [Putin] and health officials rushed to implement it as soon as possible.”

Experts were told to submit “development proposals” to reduce cell deterioration, said the report.

They were instructed to highlight new technologies preventing cognitive and sensory impairment, as well as methods for correcting the immune system, and new medical technology based on bioprinting.

Some say Mikhail Kovalchuk, 77, is heading the development of such anti-ageing techniques.

A conspiracy theorist himself, Kovalchuk has long advocated the development of a so-called “Russian genome”.

Putin’s daughter Maria Vorontsova, 39, an endocrinologist, is also suspected to be involved in the search for a longer life.

Earlier this year Putin announced that Russia needed a new national project, aimed at “preserving the health” of its citizens.

One of its programmes is the fight against ageing to save 175,000 lives by 2030.

He even had a long-standing anti-ageing guru Professor Vladimir Khavinson who died earlier this year.

The former director of the St Petersburg Institute of Bioregulation and Gerontology famously claimed he was developing the secret for humans to live to 110 or 120 by slowing the process of ageing.

The professor is known to have previously helped three Kremlin leaders – Leonid Brezhnev, Yuri Andropov and Boris Yeltsin.

Putin is known for his drastically changing appearance and has been labelled a cosmetic surgery addict.

According to experts, the former spy has been taking regular Botox and cheek fillers to maintain his image in a desperate search for eternal youth.

Experts now claim that there is clear evidence of the former spy having numerous procedures over the years to improve his looks.

Putin has long prided himself on his “strongman” image – but dramatic changes in his appearance over the past few years have prompted speculation he may be suffering from a severe illness.

His appearances in the last few years have shown him out of breath, stumbling over his words, or looking exhausted.

Keir Giles, a Russia expert at Chatham House, said there is no doubt Putin’s health has deteriorated.

He told The Sun: “If you watch Putin closely, it’s hard to avoid the suspicion that often some of the appearances you’re seeing are not, in fact, the same person.

“You also notice the trends in his health over time. His health does seem to improve and deteriorate in different public appearances.

“There are some times when he looks really quite frail, bloated, puffy, shaking, having to grip onto the table and only giving very short five-minute speeches even on major public events.

“And then there are times when he appears to bounce back as a much healthier individual who is standing up and speaking for 40 minutes.

“But what is actually wrong with him is a mystery to us all.”

Brit historian professor Anthony Glees said he was convinced Putin uses a body double – and is sustaining on Russian medicine science.

“I have to say Putin remains a man of mystery to me,” he said.

“I mean from time to time I’ve commented on his cheeks being puffed up. I’m convinced that he has body doubles.

“Putin is very interested in avatars and all that stuff, and we don’t know if the pictures that we’re being shown of Putin are actually pictures of Putin.”
