But it is too late and she is dragged away by the raging waters to her death.
She is seen desperately clinging to the outside of her car as she was battered by the raging waters in Uberlândia, Brazil.
Jeniffer is stood next to her husband, Wallison Lima, clutching onto him for dear life on Sunday at around 1am.
The pair were left stranded after a torrential deluge of rain that fell in just 30 minutes.
The water was up to their waists and they seemed to be unable to let go of the car to reach the ladder in fear of being taken away.
A woman can be heard shouting to them: “It’s dangerous, get back in the car.”
Jeniffer was dragged along the flooded street for approximately 985ft.
This is the equivalent of being pulled along the distance of over nine football fields.
She was found at around 1.25am, and had died from drowning and multiple trauma.
The husband was also swept away by the flood, but managed to save himself.
He found her unconscious and tried to resuscitate her with the help of firefighters on the scene.
Wallison paid tribute to his wife in an Instagram story: “Thank you for all the messages.
“I’m not able to reply to all of them.
“It’s very difficult here. I just want her back!”
Jeniffer’s family said in a statement: “The hole you leave, Jenniffer, will be immeasurable.
“We will forever feel your joy and the love you have spread wherever you have been.”
One relative said: “She was much more than an influencer, she was a ray of light, and great fun at family and social gatherings.
“Her emotion, joy and camaraderie were able to turn any moment into something special.”
That night, the pair had been heading out together, and Jeniffer had posted a picture of the outfit she was wearing to her over 50,000 followers.
Her haunting final message read: “I’m going to be young again.”
Wallison and Jeniffer were together for over 14 years having been married for eight years.
They used to make several posts on social media on trips, outings, parties and other celebrations with their family.
