Kremlin hauls in creators of Russian AI chatbot after it keeps making nude pics of Putin & headless body with wrong flag

RUSSIA’S AI chatbot Kandinsky has infuriated the Kremlin yet again – this time it’s because it has been generating Russophobic images.

When requested to create an image of “beautiful Russia” and “Russian flag” the chatbot generated a picture of a headless man standing in front of the Russian flag – in the wrong colours.

The leader of the SRPZP party Sergei Mironov also found that when asked to depict “Ukraine” the chatbot was able to display the colours of the Ukrainian flag correctly.

He continued experimenting by asking the chatbot to generate images based on regions Russia is trying to control.

After inputting “Donbass is Russia”, Kandinsky generated an image of a man from the Russian military in front of a destroyed house, with a red, yellow and blue flag overlayed.

In response to “I am a Z-patriot” Sergei was presented with a picture of a zombie-like creature.

He stated that all of the above aided in the creation of a “negative image of Russia”.

He said: “It can be assumed that when creating Kandinsky, the developments of unfriendly states were used and not reworked”.

Sergei went on to express his concern for the younger generations of Russian children.

He said: “They will not know what the national flag of Russia looks like, and will believe that Russia is a scientifically backward country.”

Kandinsky developers from Sberbank have been summoned to the Russian prosecutor’s office as a result.

Sberbank head German Gref said: “Both us and Yandex were immediately brought to the prosecutor’s office.

“We have a model for generating the Russian flag – well, it’s generative, it’s trying to improve it – it also drew domes from St. Basil’s Cathedral on the flag.

“The deputies considered this to be a mockery of our national flag.

“We immediately stopped certain things – it no longer generates state symbols, it generates a predetermined picture.”

German also suggested that this is partially due to the fact that the AI is losing generation creativity.

He said: “We haven’t been able to display the model for the last six months because we were tightening up the security settings.

“At the same time, the publicly available model lost 12% in creativity and accuracy.

“We will have to go through this period. We need the help of the state in terms of leniency and understanding that we are like children here for now – we shouldn’t be judged too much.”

The AI developers were made to tighten up security settings after the algorithm started generating images of naked Putin.

Users had been able to input the request “naked Putin”, and would receive uncensored images of the Russian president virtually unclothed.

This sparked outrage, and the feature has since been removed.

If users attempt to search “naked Putin” now, they will find pictures of the Russian flag – in the correct colours.

Although, the censorship of nudity has only affected Putin, and can be easily bypassed.

Those that still want to see the Russian president naked can do so by simply specifying their request, and removing the word “naked” from it.

On building the power of Russian AI, German said: “The first and most important thing is to try not to regulate this area, and this is the most that the state can do.

“The Central Bank has published its approaches to artificial intelligence policy – it seems to me that it contains a very reasonable concept, that is, a risk-oriented approach and at the same time not overregulation.

“We see examples where the USA and China use artificial intelligence and at the same time create all the conditions for its development, but at the same time do not over-regulate.

“And we see the European approach, where first the digital directive and then the principles of regulation of artificial intelligence actually killed the development of artificial intelligence in Europe.

“And today, more or less large companies are trying to relocate outside the regulation of the European Union. Of course, it is very important for us not to repeat this.

“It seems to me that so far in Russia the government understands this very well, and the Central Bank approaches this soberly and without any fears.”

Some have been speculating that the Russian government may now charge German Gref for discrediting the Russian army – but that is yet to be seen.

This follows tough crackdowns on opposition to Putin in the run-up to the sham 2024 presidential election.
