Andrew Tate makes bid to return to UK after mum Eileen suffers heart attack as he’s banned from leaving Romania

ANDREW Tate and his brother have made a desperate bid to return to the UK to visit their mum after she suffered a heart attack.

A spokesperson for the brothers said she was immediately rushed to hospital this afternoon and will undergo emergency surgery.

The Tate brothers have made requests to return to the UK before but are banned from leaving Romania.

They were arrested in December last year as part of a probe into human trafficking, rape, and organised crime.

Their spokesperson today said: “It is our understanding that she will be undergoing emergency surgery.

“Her discharge from the hospital is contingent on the success of this critical procedure.

“In light of this critical and devastating situation, Andrew and Tristan are hopeful that the court will expedite their request to temporarily leave the country to be with their mother and support her during this challenging time.”

Andrew and Tristan have reportedly asked for privacy after news of their mum’s illness.

Former kickboxer and disgraced influencer Andrew and his brother Tristan were charged by police in June 2023 as part of an ongoing sex trafficking investigation.

They are accused of recruiting women on social media platforms and getting them to travel to their villa on the outskirts of Bucharest.

They have denied the allegations of trafficking and rape they are set to face trial over.

Both men are alleged to have pretended to fall in love with the women before getting them to work for their business and making them perform sexual acts on webcams.

Romanian authorities have reported that they have identified six alleged victims in the case who were subjected to “acts of physical violence and mental coercion” as well as “sexual exploitation”.

Andrew has repeatedly denied any wrongdoing, saying that he is a victim of something called The Matrix.

Controversial figure Tate has previously sparked outrage around the world over claims he’s made on social media.

He caused outrage in September 2017 when he said that depression was not a real disease.

Later that year, he also claimed women should bear “some responsibility” for being raped, following the allegations made against disgraced Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein.

He has been removed from X, formerly known as Twitter, on several occasions and in January 2022, the social media site said an account he’d created on the platform was “verified in error”.

As of November 2023, he is also banned from YouTubeTikTok, Facebook, and Instagram.

Tate runs his own online network called “The War Room” which has been described as an “exclusive online network for men”.

Andrew and Tate previously won an appeal to be released from house arrest in Romania in August 2023.

The ruling meant that Tate, his brother Tristan and suspects Georgiana Naghel and Luana Radu could leave the house, but not the capital and the surrounding Ilfov county.

This lasted for a period of 60 days from August 4 until October 2 – but now they’re looking to go one further.

Convincing the Romanian courts to allow them a return to the UK , however, is on a much larger scale.
