Terrifying POV video shows the sights and sounds of WW3 with vast nuclear blast hitting major city as screams echo

THIS is the terrifying feeling of what happens when a nuclear blast rips through a city.

A clever group of researchers have revealed what it would look and sound like if a nuclear bomb was to strike as concerns over a potential WW3 draw closer.

The University of Nicosia (UNIC) in Cyprus decided to find out just what would happen to a person if they were in the middle of a nuclear explosion.

Footage generated through computer modelling shows exactly how a predicted blast could affect surrounding buildings, the environment and people.

Titled “Nuclear explosion impact on humans indoors”, the research paper took a deep dive into the after effects of an intercontinental ballistic missile strike and atomic bomb explosion.

Using advanced modelling, the team created a pair of chilling videos.

The first horror flick is filmed from the POV of a human caught up in the almighty mess as they come face-to-face with the wrath of a nuke.

The fascinating yet chilling video shows a man standing at the bottom of a huge building in a busy city, just like London, whilst on his phone.

Before the camera rapidly pans up to the skyscraper and a mammoth explosion can be seen in the distance, miles away from the man.

A petrifying rumble can then be heard as people’s screams echo throughout the city as they face impending doom.

As the camera looks down on the massive fiery mushroom cloud forming over the city, the hundreds of skyscrapers seem too far away to be affected by the blast.

Before a devastating surge of energy comes through the city and wipes out everything in its path, creating a wave of flying debris and a mass amount of fiery air.

The clip then ends with the man seemingly fallen flat on his back from the powerful blast as dirt, bricks and huge rocks all get flung in his direction.

The second then shows how an explosion of such force would be able to drastically change the temperature of what’s around it.

Alongside the horrifying damage that could be caused simply based on the brute force of the air around the explosion.

The UNIC team also used the genius study to analysis the safest place to be at the time of a nuclear attack to try and stay alive.

Lead author, Professor Dimitris Drikakis said: “Before our study, the danger to people inside a concrete-reinforced building that withstands the blast wave was unclear.

“Our study shows that high airspeeds remain a considerable hazard and can still result in severe injuries or even fatalities.”

A second study lead, Dr Ioannis Kokkinakis made it clear that the “most dangerous critical indoor locations” that you should aim to avoid at all costs is “the windows, the corridors, and the doors”, of any building.

The doctor advised: “People should stay away from these locations and immediately take shelter.

“Even in the front room facing the explosion, one can be safe from the high airspeeds if positioned at the corners of the wall facing the blast.”

Despite many of us feeling the possibility of being caught in the presence of a nuke is highly unlikely there have been some worrying signs in the last few weeks of a potential WW3.

The world is facing its “most dangerous and volatile moment” in history as hotbeds of conflict explode, according to military analysts.

It’s feared RussiaChina, the Middle EastIran and North Korea are all major flashpoints for an all-out world war – and British troops could be dragged in to it.

Former Royal Navy chief Admiral Lord West told The Sun: “I have never known the world to be more dangerous and unpredictable.”

It comes after UK defence secretary Grant Shapps warned that the world is in a “pre-war” moment.

In a speech at Lancaster House in London, he urged Britain and its allies to ramp up defence spending, insisting: “The era of the peace dividend is over.”

He added: “In five years’ time we could be looking at multiple theatres involving RussiaChinaIran and North Korea.”

Since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in February 2022Putin has become a growing threat to world order.

On top of almost two years of brutal warfare a leaked military report yesterday showed the despot’s ten-step plan to bring the West to the brink of World War Three.

Putin’s alliance with North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un has seen the eerily similar pair bond over their shared views about the West.

Korea’s leader has such a terrifying nuclear and chemical armoury the US no longer believes the weapons are only for defensive purposes.

And the chilling threat poised by Iran has become ever more present in recent months since the October 7 massacre in Israel sparked a fresh war between Netanyahu’s forces and terror group Hamas.

Iraq, Syria, Yemen and Lebanon have all been dragged into the conflict as have the UK and US.

And notorious terror group ISIS appears to even be making a terrifying comeback onto the world’s stage.

And Iran’s terror proxies – including Hezbollah and the Houthis – have gone up against Israel, the US and UK as fears of an all-out war in the Middle East grow.
