Kamikaze drones blast ANOTHER of Putin’s oil refineries as massive inferno burns through site 200 miles inside Russia

UKRAINIAN kamikaze drones have blasted yet another Russian oil refinery.

A succession of powerful explosions were heard in the Dzerzhinsky district in Kaluga Oblast overnight as flames and smoke filled the air.

Dramatic footage showed a massive orange inferno at the Pervyy Zavod refinery following reports of several drones flying overhead.

Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin claimed a drone flying toward the Russian capital had been downed in Moscow Oblast, as three more drones were allegedly destroyed in Bryansk Oblast.

Three tanks containing diesel fuel, and one tank containing fuel oil, were said to have been set alight.

The region’s governor Vladislav Shapsha reported about 7am local time (5am UK time) that the fire had been extinguished and that no one had been injured.

Russian media confirmed that a fire broke out at the Pervyy Zavod oil refinery in Kaluga Oblast following a drone crash.

Ukrainian drones attacked the same oil refinery on March 14, sparking another fire and damaging equipment at the facility.

The latest blitz comes after Ukraine yesterday struck a key oil depot near the £3billion bridge linking Crimea to Russia.

Footage showed the blazing oil terminal at Yurovka in southern Krasnodar region, where Vladimir Putin has two sprawling palaces.

Some 62 firefighters rushed to the LUKOIL-Yugnaftoprodukt oil terminal to try and extinguish the roaring blaze.

Russia claimed it shot down six drones over facility.

Yesterday’s strike came as Putin staged his annual Victory Day military parade on Moscow’s Red Square.

The Russian tyrant had axed most of this year’s celebrations – held in honour of Russia’s defeat of Nazi Germany in World War II – over fears of Ukrainian kamikaze drone attacks.

A pared-down Victory Day parade held yesterday featured just one tank, the image indicative of the strains of war.

Ukraine’s repeated attacks on oil refineries have become a major headache for Putin, with Russian prices rising and supplies disrupted.

Moscow is meanwhile pummelling Ukraine’s power plants in an apparent attempt to hamper the production of weapons and public morale.
