Abu Zina was central to Hamas’ weapon development – specialising in the production of strategic ammunition and rockets for militants to wield in their campaign of terror.
Overnight, the IDF said the terror chief was eliminated after one of its fighter jets blasted Hamas’ production headquarters.
Dramatic footage footage shows the warehouse being struck from the sky – sending flames and huge plumes of smoke into the air.
It said: “IDF fighters continue to operate deep in the Gaza Strip, eliminating terrorists and directing aircraft to attack terrorist infrastructure.
“An IDF fighter jet, guided by the intelligence of the Shin Bet and Amman, destroyed the Abu Zina warehouse, which served as the head of the Industries and Weapons Department at the Hamas production headquarters.”
Images show the terrifying number of Hamas weapons seized by Israeli troops.
The IDF found some 1,493 hand grenades and explosives, 760 RPGs, 427 explosive belts, 375 firearms, 106 rockets and missiles following the horror October 7 massacre.

“Weapons used for the killing of innocents.”
It comes as Israel claims to have Hamas’ leader surrounded in a bunker after taking control of one of the terror group’s military strongholds on Tuesday.
IDF forces have branded Yahya Sinwar, known as “Gaza’s Bin Laden”, a dead man, as they close in on Gaza City.
Israel’s defence minister Yoav Gallant said Hamas’s leader in Gaza was “hiding in his bunker … without contact with his associates”.
He did not disclose the terror leader’s exact location.
Israeli has killed a number of Hamas’ top brass as the war rages on – including its missile chief, its Central Gaa boss and one of the heads of the terror group’s security forces.
Meanwhile, a month of relentless bombardment in Gaza since the Hamas attack has killed more than 10,300, according to the Health Ministry in the Hamas-run territory.
The IDF says 30 of its soldiers have been killed in Gaza since the ground offensive began, and Palestinian militants have continued to fire rockets into Israel on a daily basis.
Israel has vowed to topple Hamas from power and crush its military capabilities.
