BRAVE Israeli hostage Mia Schem claims someone operated on her arm with no anaesthetic or painkillers during her traumatic 54 days in Hamas captivity.

She recalled looking at the surgeon and hearing him say: “You’re not going to go home alive.”

The 21-year-old Israeli-French tattoo artist, from Shoham in central Israel, was snatched from the Supernova music festival and dragged to Gaza by evil Hamas terrorists on October 7.

Her family have previously claimed she was operated on by a vet while being held captive in the besieged enclave.

In a new interview with Israel’s Channel 12, Mia told of how she was shot in the arm then spent three days in a Gaza hospital with her hand stretched and tied to a piece of plastic.

She said she was then moved to an operating room and forced to undergo a procedure with no anaesthetic or painkillers.

Mia recalled: “I saw the surgeon, I didn’t see his face.

“He looked at me and said, ‘You’re not going to go home alive’.”

The revelations are just some of many to come out of her recent interviews with two separate Israeli TV channels.

In both, she appeared on the verge of tears and with a large bandage wrapped around her entire right arm.

The 21-year-old was one of the final eight hostages released last month as part of a seven-day truce deal between Israel and Hamas.

She also claimed in her interview with Channel 12 that she and her fellow hostages were kept in a locked room for 24 hours a day, starving as children taunted them with food.

Mia said: “You’re afraid that something will happen at any moment. They would throw me food once a day, some days they wouldn’t. The children would open the door and look.

“You are talked about and laughed about. Once this little boy, my sister’s age, entered the room with a bag of sweets. He came to me, opened the bag, closed it and left. It’s evil… how evil.”

In the same interview, she said: “You’re like an animal in the safari.”

Of the horrifying moment when she was abducted by Hamas terrorists, she said: “I was screaming, ‘My hand is gone!’

“[The terrorist] started touching me in my upper body, then suddenly someone pulled me by my hair, threw me in a vehicle, and we went to Gaza.”

Separately, in a clip aired by Israel’s Channel 13, she told the interviewer she felt it was “important for me to reflect the true situation … and share what I went through in Gaza.”

When asked what she wanted people to realise, she responded: “That I went through Holocaust.

“Everyone there were terrorists. Entire families are in the service of Hamas.”

Mia claimed she was being held captive in a home with a civilian family which included a woman and children.

She said: “It is families under the Hamas regime, you know. I realised that I was staying with a family. And then I start asking myself questions… ‘Why am I staying with a family? Why are there children here? Why is there a woman here?’”

Some 240 people including men, women, and children were taken from southern Israel into Gaza when Hamas launched its attack on Israel in October and killed 1,200 people.

The terror group released more than 100 hostages, all women and children, during a week-long ceasefire at the end of November.

More than 100 remain in captivity with a number reported dead.
