Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler has sexual assault claim from 1975 dismissed by judge

A JUDGE has dismissed a sexual assault lawsuit against Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler.

Former model Jeanne Bellino claimed the rocker, 75, groped her twice in 1975 when he was 27 and she was 17.

She says Tyler assaulted her in a Manhattan phone booth and later pinned her against a wall and simulated sex.

Tyler “vehemently” denied the allegations.

Ms Bellino said she suffered “severe and emotional distress” and was “hospitalised and medicated” as a result.

It was previously reported Ms Bellino was working on a fashion show when a friend arranged for her to meet Aerosmith at a nearby hotel.

US District Judge Lewis Caplan dismissed the civil lawsuit, saying Ms Bellino had waited too long to sue Tyler.

Tyler’s lawyer David Long-Daniels told Reuters: “We agree with the judge’s reasoning, and are grateful for this result on behalf of our client.”

Another case against the singer began in 2022 after a woman filed a lawsuit against him for sexual battery and assault when she was 16.

He denies the claims.
