Sewer rat Sinwar fled in Hamas tunnel flanked by his children…it doesn’t get more cowardly, says terror victim’s brother

HAMAS warlord Yahya Sinwar has been branded a “sewer rat” after he was seen fleeing in an underground tunnel alongside his young children.

Hillel Fuld, the brother of one of Sinwar’s victims, described the Hamas leader as the “world’s biggest coward” after he was spotted going through a passage underneath Gaza with his family.

The minute-long footage shows the Hamas boss walking behind his wife along with three of his young children – with one of them clutching a doll – in a tunnel underneath terrorist stronghold Khan Younis.

If the video is verified it will be the first time the Hamas chief has been seen since he went into hiding.

Despite being Israel‘s number one target, the terrorist dubbed “Gaza’s Bin Laden” appears fine, unfazed by the safety risks for his young children, whom he appears to use as human shields.

Middle East commentator Hillel Fuld slammed Sinwar for hiding alongside his own young children and said Israel would eliminate him soon.

He told The Sun: “It’s it’s unbelievable to me that anybody let alone millions of people view this man as a hero.

“This is a man who is like a sewer rat, literally hiding, jumping from terror tunnel to terror tunnel after having stolen billions of dollars from his own people. Right?

“It doesn’t get more cowardly than him. Israel obviously is going to eventually have to eliminate him.

“There’s no question about that. It’s not a question of it’s a question of when.

“But just seeing that, who takes his little children, and is going, from tunnel to tunnel?

“You don’t get more deranged and twisted than that man, and so Israel is going to take him out. “

Commenting on how Sinwar has surrounded himself by hostages, Huld added: “How cowardly can you get, Hero? This guy is the world’s biggest coward.”

American-Israeli Fuld moved to Israel with his family from New York 30 years ago.

His older brother Ari Fuld, was stabbed to death by a Palestinian teenager in 2018.

The dad-of-four, an outspoken Israeli paratrooper, was stabbed in the back outside of a shopping mall near Jerusalem before he heroically chased back and wounded the attacker.

Hillel said his brother gave his “final breath” to save a woman as the terrorist was already preparing to attack his next victim.

He added: “Ari was basically medically dead, and somehow, miraculously, he was able to chase down a terrorist, jump over a wall and shoot the terrorist when he was about three inches away from his next victim, a kind woman named Hila, who has a falafel stand there, and she had just served the terrorist a falafel.”

Sinwar masterminded the October 7 masaccre and is said to be hiding in the group’s vast underground tunnels ever since.

An IDF spokesman Daniel Hagari said the video had been captured on a Hamas CCTV camera on October 10 and obtained in recent days.

“That’s how he escaped with his family underground in a tunnel to one of the safe accommodation complexes he had built in advance,” he added.

Israel that has vowed to catch the terrorist “dead or alive,” has already started a strategy of pumping millions of gallons of seawater into Hamas’s 300-mile network of tunnels.

Engineers estimate the tunnels could be inundated by Christmas — and that Sinwar and his henchmen will end up being flushed out.

In a press conference upon releasing the footage he said: “One video or another is not what really matters.

“What is important is the intelligence that will allow us to reach senior Hamas officials and the hostages.

“The hunt for Sinwar will not stop until we catch him, dead or alive.”

Who is ‘Gaza’s Bin Laden’?

Yahya Sinwar, dubbed ‘Gaza’s Bin Laden’, is a politician who is the leader of Palestinian extremist group Hamas.

Israel blame him for “masterminding” the October 7 massacre where Hamas brutes stormed across the border and opened fire at a music festival in Israel.

Sinwar is 61 years old and was born in 1962 at the Khan Yunis refugee camp and spent his early years there.

The Hamas chief previously served 22 years behind bars for for orchestrating the abduction and killing of two Israeli soldiers and four Palestinians.

He was released in 2011.

In 2017 he was secretly elected Hamas leader in the Gaza Strip, taking over from Ismail Haniyeh.

Shortly after, he established a Hamas controlled administrative committee for the Gaza Strip, which meant that he opposed any power sharing with the Palestinian Authority in Ramallah.

In 2021, he was elected to a second four-year term as the head of Hamas Gaza branch

Sinwar is the highest-ranking Hamas official in Gaza and is the second most powerful member of Hamas.
