A BOMBSHELL claim that Madeleine McCann suspect was wiretapped while in prison by German investigators could be a major blow to the monster’s trial.
While the shocking claim has not been heard in Braunschweig today, Brueckner‘s lawyers have requested for the witness to be heard in the trial.

A former employee of the Federal Criminal Police Office (BKA) sensationally claimed that Brueckner’s cell was equipped with bugging devices.
The employee claimed she was involved in the installation process of the technology and said she has photos to prove it, T- Online reported.
The employee reportedly said that two other BKA officers told her they had a “personal score” to settle with the German and that they were planning “to do something” about it.
If the allegation is confirmed it would be a massive hit to Brueckner’s trial as conversations between him and his lawyers could also have been tapped.
The paedophile appeared before court this morning for the second day of his trial after last week’s hearing was suspended after just nine minutes.
New details emerged in the alleged rape case of Irish holiday rep Hazel Behan with the victim saying she feared Brueckner would behead her.
The court heard the warped German tied her legs to table legs and raped her, before quipping: “You are afraid of me aren’t you?”
He then whipped the helpless holiday rep and chillingly demanded: “Are you afraid of me now?”
Hazel was terrified of dawn coming – fearing Brueckner “would cut her head off”.
Despite the McCann case not being heard, Brueckner used his lawyer to whinge to the court he had been persecuted by being accused of taking the toddler in 2007.
In a shocking opening statement Dr Friedrich Fulscher said: “Since June 2020, our client Christian Brückner has been under constant worldwide media fire.
“According to the Braunschweig public prosecutor’s office, he allegedly abducted and murdered Madeleine Beth McCann.
“The investigating authorities have been repeating this theory to the media like a prayer wheel.
“The results of the investigation have not yet been presented to the defence, so that the accused has not been able to substantiate this allegation.
“A comparable media campaign of prejudgement has been sought in vain.
“The greatest challenge for the court in these proceedings will be to free itself from these ulterior motives when investigating the procedural truth and assessing the evidence with regard to the accusations levelled.
“We are not hearing the best-known missing persons case of the post-war period, but five other serious allegations with numerous legal and factual difficulties for the taking of evidence.”
Brueckner is also charged with grabbing the wrist of a child on a beach and performing a sex act on himself near Praia, just weeks before Maddie vanished.
The court heard Brueckner used a rape drug to incapacitate his victims.
Prosecutors allege he hit an elderly woman with a whip 20 times at her holiday home in Portugal.
During the alleged attack, he was wearing “a stocking mask that only had holes for his eyes and mouth” and forced his victim to put on “swimming goggles.”
He then put a pillow on her face and attempted to suffocate her.
Around the same time, prosecutors allege Bruecker tied a German-speaking girl aged just 14 to a post in Praia da Luz and raped her.

“The girl addressed the accused by the name ‘Chris’ and made it clear to him that what he was doing was against her express will.
“She begged him to stop and shouted ‘this is kidnapping, this is rape,’ the prosecutor said.
When the alleged victim vomited, Brueckner responded: “Now you’re messing up my entire carpet,” according to the prosecution.
The German is currently serving a seven-year prison term for rape and drug trafficking.
If convicted he faces up to 15 years in prison – and prosecutors could fight for a “public danger” clause, giving them the safety net for the Maddie case they want to pursue.
If he is acquitted when his seven-year 2019 sentence for rape is complete.
The defendant denies all charges.
PRIME SUSPECT
It comes as prosecutors allege Brueckner had surgery to remove a birthmark on his left thigh to avoid being recognised by student Hazel Behan.
Cops also believe Brueckner has splashed out “thousands to change his looks” and could be unrecognisable to the man he was in 2007.
Brueckner was identified four years ago as the main suspect in the abduction of Madeleine from her family’s holiday flat in Portugal in 2007.
The three-year-old vanished from an apartment in Praia da Luz on the Algarve while holidaying with parents Kate and Gerry, 55, of Rothley, Leics.
German investigators believe Brueckner abducted and murdered her.
Despite being the prime suspect in the disappearance of Maddie German authorities investigating him for the past five years, but he has not been charged.
The German is currently in jail serving a seven-year- prison sentence
